Kimathi T. Lewis:
For more than five years I
struggled with a condition that neither my nutritionist nor my
acupuncturist seemed able to correct. My diet was restricted, my
energy level low and my digestion poor. Then just over a year ago I
started taking Tai Chi under the teaching of Mr. Andrew Williams. I
knew that Tai Chi had health benefits because I had a previous
instructor who taught me about the benefits. But I was mainly
interested in taking it for self-defense and my fist instructor
would not teach me. So I switched to Mr. Williams and a few months
into the class I realized just how powerful Tai Chi is as a
medicine. Through these soft, gentle movements that work within my
body's alignment my health began to improve and in about six months
I was healed of my condition! Wow. Then I also noticed my energy
level had improved, which made my work as a house cleaner a lot
easier to handle. My digestion has also improved and my immune
system, which was affected by my condition, is steadily getting
stronger. This year, for the first time in a few years, I did not
have to stay in bed because of some illness. I mainly practice Tai
Chi twice a day and will continue to do so daily since it has become
a part of my lifestyle. These soft, dance-like movements are a great
medicine for my body. I've recommended Tai Chi to others and a
friend of mine who had arthritis on one side can now bend that side
after Mr. Williams showed her a couple of exercises to practice
daily. I highly recommend Tai Chi to anyone who is looking to
increase their energy, improve their health or defend themselves.

Alan B. Frederic:
My testimony on the martial art called Tai Chi: The benefits of knowing what tai chi is wonderful and it has help me with sleeping/relaxing/breathing and also with the stroke I had 8yrs ago. This art isn't nothing to take lightly and I only wish I taken it more seriously at that time especially when I be very stressed at times and it comes in handily. I find when I don't exercise I feel very whack and when I do I feel better and stronger at times and it is medicine for body with a big difference. This is one of the best treatment of medicine for the body since I started learning it and there is so much more I stilled don't about art. GOOD BYE/GOOD DAY! 01/04/06 |

Sonia Smith:
My left side has been hurting me for about a year. I could not twist, bend, kneel nor turn on my left side. My doctor said it was arthritis and gave me Motrin, which I only took when the pain was too intense. I’ve also tried WD-40 car oil, which worked for a while. But the chemical was too strong so I only did it twice. Then about four months ago Mr. Andrew Williams introduced me to Tai Chi. I’m 58 years-old and I’ve never done any form of exercise before so my muscles were tight but I kept doing it and I got better and better. I found Tai Chi to be very gentle and easy and I would recommend it to any body. Mr. Williams showed me a standing and sitting position, which I do every morning. Now I can sleep on my left side. I can kneel and I can twist. Thank you. 01/05/06 |
